New pieces for upcoming collections


After a year long hiatus, out having my wonderful son, Gabriel and recovering from a grueling pregnancy, Divinite' Jewellry finally returns!

I am still adjusting to life as a new mom with my very sweet 3 month old son with great help from my loving and helpful hubby. I wasn't sure as to when I would be able to return to my design baby, Divinite' Jewellry. Returning though, was a must and a goal for early 2015! Last week, I received a message from the wonderful designer, LaKrisha Baker of Lavender's Jungle about an upcoming show in March. I already had it in mind to work on some bold pieces but this chick right here lit a fire under these hands to get started A.S.A.P! So, myself and the desk hub became extra acquainted this week and put in some much needed work.

At this time, I've decided on the names of my three collections for 2015, well, the warm weather collections, :-). Whew, 3 collections to do..... Here are the names as follows:

The Gabriel Collection
A collection dedicated to my soulfully beautiful, blessed and loving son, Gabriel. This collection is all about faith, positivity and motivation! The Gabriel collection will feature pieces that are true to faith, mindfulness and leading a positive centered life.  What Gabriel has brought to my life is nothing short of an awakening.

The Solstice Collection
This is the Spring/Summer 2015 collection! The Solstice collection will feature pieces of bold, colorful and lighthearted designs. This collection will be more on the flowy side, different from my usual bold but heavier designs. The color palate for this collection will imbue colors of joy and deliciousness!!

The Royal Reign Collection
The Royal Reign Collection is a design curation of everything opulent, bold and striking! The pieces will be very ornate, detailed and textured. The inspiration behind this collection are of the rich cultures of ancient civilizations such as the Egyptian Empire, Byzantine, The Mayans and modern day cultures around the world. 

I am very excited to work on all the collections but I am really interested in what I will come up with for The Gabriel and Royal Reign Collections. I am really trying to play with multistrand textures and more opulent beading. However, time constraints may put a twist in my planning. Nonetheless, these collection will get done and they are underway as we speak.
